(and Hazen High student volunteers)


Thursdays & Fridays | 2:35–4 p.m. | September - June

Come for a free meal, activities, and time with friends.

No sign-up is needed. A permission form must be filled out and handed to an adult volunteer.


What happens here:

  • A free meal and snacks
  • Cooking and other hands-on projects
  • Arts, crafts, and slime
  • Outdoor activities and group games
  • Music and time to hang out
  • Homework help when you want it


Hazen High student volunteers join the group, eat with everyone, and help with activities.

Adults are also there to help.


Getting home:

  • Ride the 4:00 p.m. activity bus from McKnight
  • Get picked up at St. Matthew’s
  • Walk home with permission


No sign-ups. No fees. Come on Thursdays, Fridays, or both.

Drop off at Sunday service, or contact the office to arrange drop off, or pick up, on a week day

  • Boxes/cups of mac n cheese

Frozen Foods

  • Ice cream bars

Kitchen Essentials

  • Parchment paper (we bake a LOT!)
  • Ziplock bags
  • To-go food containers
  • Paper plates, utensils, and cups (compostable is preferred)


Cash/gift cards

Especially Costco gift cards (20 dollars goes so much further at Costco!)

Home made or store bought

  • Lasagna
  • Vegetarian spring rolls
  • Pizza

Beverages

  • Lemonade mix
  • Hot cocoa mix
