Come WORSHIP with us
Jesus was the ultimate host. Jesus gathered diverse crowds of people and made room for everyone to sit at the same table.
In our St. Matthew’s community, we follow Jesus’ lead as we gather for worship, study, prayer, acts of justice and mercy and connection.

Communion
At St. Matthew’s, we practice open communion—which means that all are welcome at Christ’s table.
You do not have to be a member of this church or any church. You do not need to be confirmed or fully understand the mystery of this meal.
If you hunger for grace, for connection, for love - you are welcome here.
In the Lutheran Church, we trust that Holy Communion is a gift, freely given, not something we have to earn by getting it all right.
It’s one of the beautiful ways God shows up for us, offering forgiveness, healing, and strength. We trust Christ is truly present in, with, and under the bread and wine, meeting us in love.
Worship Band
St. Matthew’s welcomes all musicians to create and be supported in their artistic endeavors. Whether one wants to ring handbells, sing in a chorale, or jam in the band, there is a musical outlet for it. With multiple outdoor events, Holy Day services, and online meetings, there are many ways in which to engage in music-making.
Handbell Choir
Join our Handbell Choir and make beautiful music together! No experience needed—just a willingness to learn and have fun. Come ring with us and be part of something special!
Sacred Rites and Faith Milestones
CELEBRATION OF LIFE / FUNERALS
St. Matthew’s is here to walk with you in times of grief and remembrance. Our pastors offer compassionate care and thoughtful planning for graveside services, memorials, or celebrations of life. We are committed to supporting you as you honor the life and legacy of your loved one with grace and dignity.
WEDDINGS
Pastors at St. Matthew’s are available to officiate weddings both at the church and off-site locations. Couples typically meet with a pastor three times before the wedding.

BAPTISMS
At St. Matthew’s, we celebrate baptism as a sign of God’s promise and a welcome into the body of Christ. Baptism is a gift of grace, marking us as beloved children of God and calling us into a life of faith. Baptisms can be scheduled during either worship service. Talk with one of the pastors for preparation and conversation.
